Born and raised in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Alex graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Communications way back in 2010. Upon graduation, he began his career journey at Intelligent Medical Objects, the leading medical terminology company in healthcare. While cutting his teeth in the job world, he was asked the most important question of his life:
The average person lives 900 months. How will you make each one of them count?
And with that, a new mission was born to live each day and month with more purpose and to leave a more lasting impact on the world. For Alex, virtual reality- the wonderful blend of experiential beauty and closer engagement- is the medium that can do just that.
Lorne Rodriguez
CO-FOUNDER / CO-CEO
A Chicago-native, Lorne grew up attending Alexander Graham Bell Elementary and Walter Payton College Prep. He then graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a focus in Hospitality Management. After returning to Chicago, he was instrumental in the operational structure of different startups, establishing data retention and analysis procedures, and creating programs to forecast financials using data-driven predictions.
He knew that VR and AR have unimaginable applications in numerous fields including education, entertainment, tourism, and medicine, and that they will redefine the way we live, work, and play. Lorne has spent all of his time studying the industry, and helping others determine how to efficiently and effectively implement the technology. He is always looking to discuss it with anyone interested in learning more.
